Researchers Find A Stem Cell That Mimics The Brain

Scientists have been doing amazing things with stem cells for a while now. The opportunities offered by stem cell research is some of the most exciting to be found in the entire scientific and medical community. Most recently, researchers have developed “a screening system for predicting developmental neurotoxicity.” In other words, thanks to advances in stem cell research, scientists have found a way to predict potential damage that can be caused to nervous tissue by toxic substances. Doing so required a team to look into the way in which genes respond to chemicals in various stages of development.
