Researching What Happiness Is And What It Is Not

What does it mean to be happy? We’re often asked the question, or told to ask ourselves the question, “are we happy?” Before deciding what answer to give to such a question, we have to examine what exactly happiness even is and what it means. Is it an abstract, unrealized concept or is something concrete and tangible? By taking a look at the way we measure and study happiness, we can begin to understand exactly what happiness is determined to be. Perhaps most importantly, we can begin to understand what happiness is NOT.
