Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak recently made a surprising prediction to a crowd in Austin, Texas, by announcing that 100 years from now artificially intelligent robots would keep people as “pets” much the way we keep dogs and cats as pets now. Even more bizarrely, Wozniak claimed to be looking forward to this future and that all of this would be “really good for humans.” Wozniak isn’t the first to make the claim that artificially intelligent life will be the dominant force in the future as Tesla CEO Elon Musk has also claimed that computers are going to take over from humans eventually.
