The Action that is Human Existence

We all have memories of our childhood, of the various events that have led up to now, but how similar are we to those younger selves? What links us to the baby born to our mother, to the child who cried after scraping their knee? We are not what we used to be, and when we look back on our lives and the events that shaped us, that made us, it isn’t difficult to see why.
