It’s that time of year again. I am talking, of course, about flu season. There are lots of tips out there about what to do to avoid or minimize your risk of catching a cold, but perhaps the best tip is often the one most overlooked – sleep! A lack of sleep QUADRUPLES your risk of catching a cold, and that’s no joke. Pulling late hours at work, or waking up in the middle of the night to finish a file is not worth it. Without the required amount of sleep, your body is more vulnerable and sensitive to any germs you become exposed to.
